A (3D) 3 dimensional chess played on 3 boards with the standard black and white chess pieces. The rules (included) are very similar to normal chess, with the exception that each side sets up on opposite sides and opposite surfaces (top and bottom). The first move for each piece is to move to the middle level and make a standard move (combined). Subsequent moves can either be on the same level or to change level only. To win, it is necessary to achieve a checkmate on the same level as the king, but also to include the space above or below.This is not the same game played on the Star Trek series, but is a very challenging, but playable game.
